Romance lingers in all the areas of the Smoky Mountains.  At Sampson’s Hollow we have hosted so many couples that dream of their Once Upon a Time wedding in the Smoky Mountains and find our century farm and it’s charming and romantic setting.  Once you decide on a wedding package that suits your dream come true, you can begin deciding on some fun things to do for you as a couple or for your whole family!

These are some fun ideas we like to share and we welcome your questions about other ideas you might have!
See a Show! Pigeon Forge has many theaters and all are fantastic entertainment and often a dinner theater.
Consider the Smoky Mountain Opry or the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s Dinner Theater for a special night out after the wedding.

For a more adventure couple we can recommend hiking and exploring the Smokies.  Sampson’s Hollow is located at the base of Cades Cove and we highly recommend you spend a day in Cades Cove learning the heritage of our area and experience the history and beauty the generations before us experienced.  See wildlife and beautiful mountain vistas.  If you love to hike, there are hiking trail heads available from Cades Cove, we can also recommend a ride to Gatlinburg on Little River Road to possibly explore an area like the Chimney Tops, which is an excellent hiking and picnicking area.

For romance, how about a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at The Island?  The Island is a wonderful adventure of shopping, dining and exploration.  Do you love people watching?  The Island is a great place to enjoy it as you rock in the provided rockers around the dancing waterfall show.

Sampson’s Hollow is such a perfect wedding venue whether you are planning a larger wedding or an elopement.  We are just part of an area that is just so perfect for honeymooners that we are grateful to be in the Smoky Mountains where we are surrounded by beauty, history, culture talent and fun!
